Raina misses team bus, takes cab to airport

Dhoni said he was not really worried about him. I just wanted to find out that all is well with him.

Dhaka: Indian batsman Suresh Raina was on the verge of missing his Dhaka-bound flight on Thursday from Chennai for the World Cup after he failed to arrive on time to catch the team bus.

Raina later reached the airport taking a cab.

In fact, Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had an embarrassed look on his face during the press conference of all the 14 skippers here when a scribe asked about Raina not arriving in time when the team bus was leaving for airport.

"Obviously, when you have a team of XV, someone may just miss out. Don't really mind it. In India, somebody will give you a lift so that you can catch a flight. I was not really worried about him. I just wanted to find out that all is well with him which was the case," Dhoni said as some of the rival skippers like Australia's Ricky Ponting, Bangladesh's Shakib al-Hasan, Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara kept smiling away.
